INDIVIDUAL USERS NEED TO SELECT THE SAME COURSE TITLE WITHOUT THE SCHOOL LICENSE WORDING Help make assessing and data tracking writing consistent across your school by purchasing your staff access to the short course ‘Tips for Marking Cold and Warm Writes’. Simply adjust the number of seats box to suit your staff numbers and complete checkout. Then, a staff code and unique link will be emailed to you as the school account coordinator. Forward this email on to your staff to complete fee-free checkout. Their subscription access will then be linked to your school account. They can now click on the ‘short courses’ tab, find the allocated course, click read more, and start completing the lessons. We recommend completing the short course in teams, or as a whole staff, to receive the most out of the session.    COURSE DURATION: Approx. 60 MINUTES Data Tracking can be taboo in teaching, primarily when we collect data that is not valuable to the student’s learning. Cold and Warm Writes are writing tests that occur five times a year. The snapshot data is collected and helps track student progress. More importantly, the data is specific in identifying students’ writing strengths and weaknesses so that educators can work collaboratively with the students to improve. This course will model marking against a level of The Australian Criterion Scale and provide tips to speed up the marking process. Consider this a snapshot into the Assessment and Data Tracking of Writing full-day course. The main goal of this session is to answer the following common questions: •What should I do to prepare for marking? •What level should I start marking on? •How do I maintain accuracy with marking? •Do I understand the criterion scale? This course is suitable for educators of preschool to adult learners who are using or wish to use the VCOP elements in their classroom. It is also ideal for leadership, support staff, or educators wanting to raise their students’ writing or oral language skills. Self-Paced Course- (School License) Each SEAT purchased is for ONE personal classroom use. To adjust for multiple educators, ensure that you change the amount of SEATS purchased in the allocated box. SINGLE CLASSROOM TEACHER (SEAT) – YOU ARE UNABLE TO SHARE, DISTRIBUTE, OR USE ANY RESOURCES FOUND IN THIS COURSE OUTSIDE OF YOUR OWN CLASSROOM. This course provides a further understanding of the benefits of VCOP and is linked to the Big Write and VCOP writing approaches and training courses.
